    The Scribner\Hooper Sentinel\Rustler
    Funeral Held For Moseman
    Funeral services for William A. Moseman, Sr. of Uehling were held
    Mon. Jan. 10, 1994 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Uehling. He
    died Jan. 6 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont at the
    age of 91.
    The Rev. Mark Eldal officiated at the service. Burial was in St.
    John's Cemetery north of Hooper.
    He was born in rural Hooper on Dec. 5, 1902 to John and Meta
    (Rudebusch) Moseman. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's
    Lutheran Church of rural Hooper. He attended St. John's Parochial
    School of rural Hooper through grade 8, and then had two years of
    Parochial High School at Deshler.
    Moseman farmed east of Scribner until 1972 when he retired and
    moved to Uehling. While living in Uehling, he worked at Harold's
    Farm Service for 10 years. He entered the Hooper Care Center in
    January of 1993.
    William had been a 4-H Club Leader, a director of School Dist. 60
    and was a past member of the Dodge County Soil Conservation Board,
    the Uehling Fire District secretary and treasurer, and for 22
    years, he was on the board of the Uehling Cooperative Co. In past
    years he also served on the Dodge County Fair Board and the Dodge
    County Extension Board.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Uehling and had
    served on the church council.
    On April 18, 1922, William was married to Louise Feye at St. Paul's
    Lutheran Church of rural Hooper.
    Survivors include his wife; five sons, William Moseman Jr. of
    Winslow, Vernon Moseman of Fremont, Donald Moseman of Hooper,
    Carrol Moseman of Herman and Dean Moseman of Parker, Colo.; two
    sisters, Emma Luther of Hooper and Regina Wolcott of Hooper; 13
    grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-
    grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two great-
    grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
    Memorials may be given to the Uehling Rescue Squad and St. Paul's
    Lutheran Church of Uehling.
