The 1882 will of Elizabeth Klefot leaves money to St. Mary's Church in Cincinnati, for masses for her soul and the souls of her daughter Catharine Klefot and her brother Frederick Klefot (both deceased.) The document was originally written in German and transcribed into English for this book; the only reasonable explanation for the mention of her "brother Frederick" is that she wrote down "husband", and it got mis-transcribed. | N.
